Zombie Smash

Advanced Immersive Environments was an introductory class for AR and VR. This exercise was done for an assignment in AR. The goal of the project was to pick a handheld product and to map an image target that will not be block when the product is held. Then to determine an interaction that can be created through augmented reality. The required tools to be used in this class was Unity and Vuforia.

This was my first experience using Unity and I wanted to experiment more using Unity as a game engine while fulfilling the assignment requirements.

Zombie Smash

The AR space has a well and a small shed. The Zombies spawn in the well, climb the well and walks into the shed. There is a 3D printed canon with an image target and when interacted with it the well and the shed appears in the AR space. The user can interact with the virtual button on the image target and shoot pumpkins to Zombies. If the pumpkins hit a zombie, the zombie will disappear with a splash of blood and a screaming sound.
