Augmented Reality (AR) as an additional layer of information
A couple of weeks ago, during Sri Lanka’s presidential election, TV channels were racing to share results while keeping viewers entertained. This inspired the experimentation with Augmented Reality (AR) as an additional layer of information.
By using the screen’s border as an image target, the AR app tracks and projects relevant content, offering viewers enhanced, interactive visuals. This AR layer could be seamlessly integrated into existing mobile apps of TV networks, offering a new level of engagement for the audience.
